Kaede then told Kana that she wanted to be in good terms with Junpei because whe thought she always caused troubles for Junpei.
Back in the temple, Junpei, and the Kirishima sisters were afraid that the ear-growing was caused by Kaede's suspicion that he was cursed.
After Nyamsus said that he had an idea, Junpei then called Mizuno and told her that he wanted to talk with her about something.
The next morning, Junpei, without any hesitations told Kaede that "he may be cursed".
They went to the Sun Road. Junpei showed Kaede the cat statue with his name written on its forehead.
When Nagi arrived, she accidentally removed Junpei's hat, revealing the cat ears within it. Junpei then ran.
When Junpei left, Nagi thought that it was just a costume because there was a shopping district masquerade contest where the winner will get amazing prizes.
Junpei then discovered that his left hand turned into a cat paw. When the Kirishima sisters caught up, they didn't find Kousaka. His clothes were scattered in the street.
At the park, Kaede saw the cat Junpei (without actually knowing it's Junpei). The cat walked towards her. She was surprised that the cat didn't run away. Then, hundreds of cats came and surrounded Kaede as she hugged the cat Junpei.
Then, Junpei's curse was broken. Kaede let go of the cat as it run to hide behind the bushes. Naked, Junpei appeared from the bushes. Seeing this, Kaede covered her eyes.
When Nagi and the others arrived, they thought that Junpei was just changing costumes for the contest. Seeing Junpei naked, Sumiyoshi kicked him calling him "a perverted bastard".
